How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Thetim Pest Control to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what happens after. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you phoned or contacted Thetim Pest Control
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • The behavior of a provider we connected you with

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own estimates, prices, products, work, and customer service. If you have trouble with work done in your home, the usual first step is to bring it up with the provider and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps us keep our network honest, and providers who often fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Thetim Pest Control cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.

If your worry is about how a pesticide was applied, you can also reach out to the agency that regulates pest control in New Jersey.

How to Send a Complaint

Email contact@thetim.living and include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you dialed or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

What Comes Next

We will confirm we got your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may mean contacting the provider. After that, we will write back with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our reply does not settle things, write back and ask us to look again. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau.
